Pale Fire in Finnish

Dear list,

for your information: Pale Fire is now available in the exotic Finnish
language.
My translation was published last October by the publishing house Gummerus.
The press reviews have been positive, the translation has been called "a
masterpiece", "seductive", "abundant" and other rather embarrassing things
that make the translator blush. If there is somebody among you that can
read Finnish, or who just collects multiple copies of different
translations, the book is available internationally through the Finnish
Internet bookshop booky.fi, see this link:

My colleague Jukka Virtanen, who is also mentioned as a contributor, helped
me to get oriented at the preliminary stages of Shade's poem, but did not
participate in the actual translation process.

Humbly yours
Kristiina Drews, translator
