Yes, JM, there is potential confusion. I don¹t think we get to see HH¹s
formal charge sheet. We read his ruminations while awaiting trial, and
during these he seems to be ³rehearsing² his defense with various asides to
the unseen jury. Even if the charge is confined to murdering Q, it makes
novelistic and legal sense to have HH preparing to answer the inevitable
questions about motive ‹ these would be likely to reveal the whole sordid
Lolita connection?
