The Arabic translation of Lolita was published in Beirut, Lebanon.
Neither the date nor the translator are mentioned in my copy.
Please be informed that the Arabic version, as I found out, is not based on the English original, but on the first and flawed French translation.
I remember seeing a reprint in Morocco, but it contained no additional data as to publication year or translator.
However, I would place its publication date in the '70s or early '80s.
Name of publisher can be provided if required.

A. Bouazza.

Is it possible to enquire if anyone knows when and in which country the
Arabic translation of Lolita was first published?
