Sorry I have to correct myself. I got the first name wrong. The "German
source" that supplied much of the genealocigal information in Speak, Memory
II was Karl Hans Hintermeier, one of the directors of Rowohlt Verlag and
their sales manager who shared his Hartung ancestors with Nabokov, not
"Heinz Hintermeier", as I erroneously wrote in my recent posting.
