EDITOR's NOTE. These photos are well worth a look. The house is not that of
VN's family (long since destroyed) but that belonging to his Uncle "Ruka"
who, on his death, left the house to his favorite nephew, Vladimir. The
colonaded
porch is where the young VN had his romantic encounters with "Tamara" as
described in _Speak, Memory_.
