Gavriel Shapiro, the Cornell Russian Chair, calls attention to the cover
feature story on VN in the July-August issue of the _Cornell Magazine_
(pp. 24-31). Called "The Exile," it is by Paul Cody. The article provides
a thumnail sketch of VN and concentrates on his eight rented residences in
Ithaca. Seven are pictured, and there is a nice full-page head shot of
Professor N.
Although generally accurate, the article does mention that Pnin was a
professor of entomology.
