Dear fellow Nabokovians,
I have a question regarding a passage in Lolita - in part 9 (pp. 35-36 of
the Annotated edition), HH's expedition into arctic Canada. That whole
passage is a mystery to me, and even though I can see its relevance on
the level of the visual imagery (ice, photography, colors), I would
appreciate it if I could get some help on where I can find any
information on it, or any of the ideas you might have about it.
