Subject: Introduction to VN for early teens

Mr. Foster,

I saw the your below posting and was interested in the fact you
wish to introduce your children to VN.

So, rather than extend my thoughts to you -- I took the liberty
to mention your posting to DN as we were having dinner tonight
and asked if he would allow me to pass his thoughts on to you.

As you might have guessed--he said yes and asked me to post to you he
agreed 100% with your suggestion "to start with _Speak, Memory_ and
perhaps some of the short stories (from the Viking Portable
collection)".
