There is a whale named Lolita in the state of Washington, and there is an
ongoing campaign, apparently, to set Lolita free from the clutches of
local Humberts. In the latest installment of the Lolita saga a letter
writer to the local paper suggested that "inflated egos... of the people
who claim to love her have kept the whale Lolita a prisoner performing
demeaning little tricks." In the tradition of FREE WILLY! (which also,
supposedly, took place in Seattle) we thus have FREE LOLITA! now heard
throughout the state. Humberts beware! Stay tuned.
