The NABOKV-L community may be interested to know about my article “Vladimir Nabokov and the Russian Hexameter: Classical Imitations in His Early Poetry,” published in the International Journal of the Classical Tradition a few days ago. It addresses VN’s earliest engagement with the classical tradition from a thematic standpoint. Included in it are four previously unpublished poems and VN's translation from Catullus.
