A Chinese (Mandarin) translation of Nabokov's Blues:  The Scientific Odyssey of a Literary Genius by Kurt Johnson and Steve Coates (Zoland Books 1999, McGraw-Hill 2000) is forthcoming fromShanghai JiaoTong University Press, China.  A specific date of issue has not yet been specified.

Shapiro. His new book, “The Tender Friendship and the Charm of
Perfect Accord: Nabokov and His Father” (University of Michigan
