SIGHTING: Humbert the Huntsman

EDNote: A colleague (Natalia Pervukhin) sent me this Facebook post by
Andrei Chernov, who asserts that no Nabokov scholar has noted the roots
of Humbert's name in the Snow White legend. He also quotes Sergey
Nikolaev, who explains that Humbert Humbert's double name mimics that of
a taxonomic "type species"--the most representative species of a given
genus.

If anyone is aware of scholars who've made these points before, feel
free to post a comment on Chernov's page!
