Re-reading about Christ Sizemore's case reminds me that one of the many riddles in Pale Fire that remain to be solved is that of the name of the "White twins" who don't accompany Hazel to the barn. It could be a reference to The Three Faces of Eve, in which "Eve" (i.e. Chris) has two alternate personalities who are called "Eve White" and "Eve Black."
But I am not convinced of this. Does anyone have any other ideas regarding the "White twins"?
