JM: Great joke. I hope Bokowsi new the difference bt. psychoanalysis and psychiatry, VN certainly did because he would have read his Freud.
There's some who say that neurotics build castles in the air, psychotics inhabit them and psychiatrists or psychoanalysts charge for the rent - and, as  related to "collectig high fees", this is the only joke I remember that uses interchangeably both words.
