Since I pulled Harington into this thread, I want
to say that, first, I'm delighted to find out he was a NABOKV-L member, and
second, my lukewarm response to "his" poetry shouldn't put off anyone who hasn't
read his fiction. He was a treasure, surely the most underrated novelist
in America.
