Hello,

Once again Nicolas Nabokov is mistaken for Vladimir Nabokov. To me, the resemblance is very superficial and is further minimized by the prominent difference between their noses.

For a comparison, albeit en profil, a picture of the cousins together is attached.

Subject: [NABOKV-L] [Nabokov-L] - misidentification

Hi,

A curio: this is what I just saw at the airport in Kiev, in the section devoted to „stars” travelling AirFrance.

The caption next to the picture (you can zoom in) says this picture is of VN.

I may be wrong, but I don’t think this is Nabokov, I thought he never flew?

Anyway, his name is rubbing shoulders with the likes of Brigitte Bardot, Alain Delon and Federico Fellini.

Best from Kiev,

Irena Ksiezopolska
