Lennart Meri, former President of Estonia, passed away 14 March: http://www.economist.com/people/displaystory.cfm?story_id=5655082 but not before making a guest appearance in Mati Unt's "Things in the Night" as a writer saving the situation (in fact, prior to his Presidency, also saving the situation). An explanatory note therein mirrors and expands upon father Georg's translation of the bulk of Shakespeare, amongst other things. Is Pale Fire's Conmal perhaps a nod in the father's direction?
