I've only glanced at Swift's letters, but it looks to me like he's switching l and r and also g and d. There are also seemingly arbitrary vowel changes, though the first "a" in "dallars" might come the (former?) pronunciation of "girl" as something like "gairl" whence "gal". Is "little talk" the mirror image of Southey's "Lingo-Grande", and is that real? Jerry Friedman
