I think it was John Updike in his review of ADA, but I may be wrong, reprinted, I believe, in his Picked-Up Pieces.

I'm finishing up my masters thesis on Lolita and am currently trying to remember who proclaimed:
 
'paedophilia is one of the last two taboos in modern society. The other is incest.'
 
or words to that effect. I read it ages ago in a literary article/text on Nabokov but can't remember who said it as I would like to use it in my thesis. I think it might be Barthes. Can anyone confirm or help me?
