A couple of comments for Jansy (forgive my pedantry):It's "Giulio Cesare Croce", not "Guilio Cesare Croci", and "Le Sottilissime Astuzie" (plural of the feminine "astuzia"), although the title with the incorrect masculine form "Astuzi" can be found in at least one source (which, I suspect, is the one you used).While the French "queue" can be a fairly vulgar term for "penis", the English "tail" is a mild term for "behind".Best,DmitriSearch the Nabokv-L archive at UCSB
