Hello,

 

I am trying to determine whether VN read Ruskin and, if so, what of 
Ruskin.  We know that his father owned Deucalion when VN was a boy.  
Does Ruskin show up anywhere in VN's library, manuscripts, or 
letters?  I've searched the sources available to me at the UVA 
library and can find nothing.  Does anyone have an answer or at least 
a suggestion as to how I could follow through with this?
