Dieter Zimmer pointed out an interview published in the American
NYHT in June of 1962. DN said that the American version wasn't
publishing in 1962.  They are both right. The NYHT was
suspended Dec. 9, 1962-Mar. 1963, as well as  Sept. 16-Oct. 15,
1965. In 1966 it became the International Herald Tribune.
 
The MM essay was published in the June 1962 New Republic, which
clearly would have hit newsstands before the NYHT article. But
do we know when, exactly, the interview was conducted?
