Clearly not "American" (and unintelligible to most "unwashed" Americans) for whom the pbrase is, "King Queen, Jack" (and no "dames" please}. John (addressed by linguists, his late first wife and his ` maternal grandfather as,"Jack") p. s. I'll make a side bet that this doesn't get past our assiduous censors, even though I've slyly attached it to Dmitri's letter, and although our non-American friends need to know that the term "Knave" is a non-American usage (I don't use the term here "un-American" Jack EDNote: Au contraire! (even without the challenge!)
