Dear List -

probably, it was discussed already, but -- In "Pnin" Victor Wind
(the son of Lisa Pnin/Wind) has fantasies in many ways similar
to the story by Kinbote (see "Pnin", the beginning of ch. 4). He himself
is the son of the king, there is a revolution, the king has
to run on a boat, helped by an american, "solus rex" is mentioned
again. Of course it is less elaborate than the story told by
Kinbote, and closer to "The Prisoner of Zenda" (one of possible
sources of Zembla story) - the kingdom is somewhere in Balcans
etc. What should/did we make of that?
