Victor Fet will be presenting a version of his Nabokov-related essay
"The Taxonomic Label as Literary Form" at the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville, Tuesday, Nov. 25, as part of a panel that begins at 1:30pm,
at the Black Cultural Center, 1800 Melrose Ave, on campus. His talk is
part of a symposium at UTK on literature and the sciences, at which
Brian Boyd will be one of keynote speakers (and may or may not say
something about Nabokov). Boyd's talk is Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Anybody who is close enough to Knoxville to attend is welcome; the
events are free and open to the public, and begin on Monday, Nov. 24.
