We are pleased to inform you of the creation of the Vladimir Nabokov French Society : Enchanted Researchers (Société Française Vladimir Nabokov: Les Chercheurs Enchantés).

 

The society’s purpose is to :

 

-   promote research on Nabokov

-   encourage close coordination between researchers from all disciplines (arts, sciences, comparative literature, Russian literature, American literature)

-   publish and distribute the writing of its members as well as the output of other researchers which focuses on Vladimir Nabokov

-   develop artistic projects centering around Nabokov

-   disseminate knowledge on Nabokov’s life and works to the general public

 

The society is open to scholars, other societies as well as any enthusiastic readers of Vladimir Nabokov in France and abroad.  

 

The board is composed of Maurice Couturier (honorary president), Lara Delage Toriel (president), Agnès Edel Roy and Anne-Marie Lafont (vice-presidents),  Monica Manolescu (treasurer), Michael Federspiel (assistant treasurer), Yannicke Chupin (secretary), René Alladaye (assistant secretary), Chloé Deroy (Webmaster).
