JM: It was wonderful to get rich information about Daniel O'Connell and therefore your interpretation of my "mystery" enriched us all. Actually this exclamation was merely applicable to the Spanish translation that mentioned Daniel in a paragraph where he was not so named in the original (perhaps this reveals the translators enthusiasm about him?).
