Yes, regarding the large numbers of Red Admirals, I've gotten several questions about why they come down and sit on people.  Many people are mentioning that.  That family Nymphalidae ("Nymphalids") are attracted to animal salts, sweat, waste etc.  So, for all the people who say they've been "feeling like St. Francis" (with these animals coming down and walking around on them) it's the taste they like.  Great fun, however.
