Dear List,

I'm a german slavist scholar and writing my doctoral thesis about the
phenomena of "nothingness"/"bliss" - "nonduality" in the work of Nabokov.
The current title of my thesis is "'essence has been revealed to me' -
Circles of nonduality in the prose of V.N. " (last part translated from
german "Umkreisungen des Nondualen").

("essence has been revealed to me" is a quote from "Ultima Thule").

Now my question: Do you know if there already is some work about this
issues - enlightenment, nonduality, oneness, Advaita ... in Nabokovs
writings?
I couldn't find anything in particular (except a chapter with some
valuable allusions in Michael Maar's "Speak, Nabokov"), but maybe I
overlooked something and you have some hints for me?

I would be very thankful for any help. It's a thrilling subject, but
quite complicated and even "dangerous" (as these themes always are...).

Thanks in advance and a wonderful new year to all of you,
Nora Scholz
