This is extremely sad news. Cathy has been a vibrant part of the
Nabokov world for several years, and her work across Russian studies
has always been fascinating. I had not heard this news, but when I
last heard from Cathy, she thought she had more time and planned to
finish "Nabokov and His Enemies: Terms of Engagement" this spring or
summer. Let us hope that it is close enough to completion that
others can publish it in her memory and to our great benefit.
