Membership and Donations

Becoming a Member of the International Vladimir Nabokov Society

While you can use and contribute much of the website without membership in the International Vladimir Nabokov Society, membership entitles you to discounts on a number of books related to Nabokov, to see a number of restricted pages,

and also to participate in IVNS activities, such as sponsored conferences and conference panels.

To become a member, use the payment link below, which will take you to PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account in order to make payment, just a credit card. When you reach the next page, click the light-blue link "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" if you don't have, or don't want, a PayPal account. Memberships run for the calendar year and expire on Dec. 31, regardless of when they are purchased. Active Nabokovians are encouraged to become paid members of the International Vladimir Nabokov Society.

Even if you are a member, you will still need to register to the site to be able to add and edit material. Also, when visiting the site, please remember to log in: otherwise, you will not have access to all the materials that your registration or your membership to IVNS entitles you to.

If you would like to sponsor a membership for another individual, make your purchase as usual, and add a note-to-seller within PayPal notifying of the sponsorship. Please also send an email notification directly to the treasurer (currently Christopher Link) at

Choose your status from the pull-down, and click "pay now." (The link will take you off-site to PayPal.)
