Don't apologize. What you have to say is always so much above the
average current of what we read. Thank you from an American in Paris
who studied Russian in college and spent the summer of 1964 in Russia
or rather USSR, but whose Russian has since gone to sleep--not
completely, but not active. If you ever come to Paris, let me know.
Or if you have any questions I might answer, let me know.
I'm a great Nabokov fan, but not a scholar, having worked in
publishing and advertising all my life. Now quite retired, mostly
forced, because of health.
