Query: VN's essays as emigre in Europe / emotional attachment to
objects

Body
I was wondering if anyone can point me to a bibliography of VN's Russian
essays/articles published in his Berlin/Paris/Prague years. I remember
having once stumbled on a web site that had online text of some of his
essays, but can no longer find it. I'm specifically looking for an
article
of his where (and I remember this only vaguely) he discusses emotional
attachment to objects such as toys, etc.

Any help will be much appreciated,

[EDNOTE. Did you check the bibliographies on the Zembla website, listed
below? You might also consult Boyd's VN: The Russian Years to begin
with. Such a discussion of emotional attachment to objects may also
appear in Speak, Memory or even in VN's forewords (such as that to his
English trans. of The Defense, in which he says that he gave his own
pocket chess set to Luzhin). DN, in his own foreword to The Enchanter,
remarks on the rare, exotic objects that VN liked to give his
characters. Certainly, emotional attachment to objects in VN's fiction
would be a wonderful topic to pursue. -- SES]
