I am grateful to Barbara Wyllie for the news about "Danzando LOLITA" ("Dancing Lolita," not as in "Dancing Matilda" but as in "Dancing Invitation to a Beheading") at the Roccella Jazz Festival. "Roccella" has two c's. The one-c version, to the best of my knowledge, stems only from a misspelling on a jazz musician's CV, and provides no other online information. The presentation consists of an actor's narration of excerpts from Lolita and "narrative movement" by dancers, accompanied by string bass, alto sax, clarinets, electronic keyboards, and piano. It is supposed to be an "homage" to VN, but it won't be a freebee. My agent's files contain no permission for this use, and something is being done about that right now. I have further confirmation of this event from an item in the magazine Carnet, just received from my Italian clipping service.

Greetings,

DN
