I entirely agree with this, and with Don's characteristically amiable
words
of encouragement. But vigilance would
need to be exercised. The Net abounds with lists in which there is
enough --
and to spare -- of informal discussion and,
well, chat. Oddly, it can also become distinctly cliquish, once the
inner
circle forms. The same people tend to monopolize
the conversation, blithely ignoring newcomers. Phil-Lit is an excellent
example of that sort of thing.

But the idea in general remains attractive.
