I am a post-graduate student (1st year "aspirant") specializing in
"The Literature of Europe, America and Australia" at the World Literature
Department of the State Pedagogical University of Nizhny Novgorod.
I was extremely glad to learn of the International Nabokov Society
since it was my interest in Nabokov's work that led me to literary
scholarship. I'm writing a post-graduate paper ("kandidatskaja
dissertatsiya") called "The Post-War Period of Nabokov's Work in the
Context of the Literary Process in the USA." Another version is "Problems
of Nabokov's Poetics of the Post-war Period"). I work under the Direction
of Professor Irina Vassilyevna Kireeva (State Classical University of
Nizhny Novgorod).

1. The novel "Pnin" by V. Nabokov: the problem of the hero and the
author (In _Analytical Reading at Secondary and Tertiary Level_,
(Pedagogical University of Nizhny Novgorod Press, 1997).
2. "National Specifity in the Expression of Grammatical Meanings:
the "English and Russian Versions of Nabokov's "Pnin." In _Readings for
Professor Iordansky_ ." (State Pedagogical University of Vladimir
Press, 1997).
3. "Maxim Gorky's Creations from Nabokov's Point of View." In _Gorky
Readings_. (State Classical University of Nizhny Novgorod Press, 1997).
4. "The Dialog of the Literary Traditions in Nabokov's _The Real
