Re: Cover Art on VN Paperbacks (fwd)

I thought I may add a paperback cover that I own and has not yet
appeared here. It's a Russian edition of _Dar_ (Moskva: Slovo,
1990). It has a white cover with a brown reproduction of one of VN
childhood photographs, sitting stiff on a chair in a suit (of
course) and an open book with butterflies on his lap. I do not
like it particularily but it's not bad. And I'm grateful it's the
author on the cover and not any young man who is supposed to be
Fedor Godunov-Cherdyntsev, my personal absolutely favourite
Nabokov character.
