Vladimir Nabokov's birthday is coming soon, and we have good news: the Pushkin Russian Literature Institute's Museum now has a Nabokov Hall (located next to the Silver Age Hall.) The permanent exhibition includes photographs, documents, personal items, writing tools, and books from the Nabokov family library. Actually, in this large museum Nabokov is one of the few authors who have an entire hall space for themselves.
Also, two unpublished early poems by Nabokov have been discovered in the Rozhdestveno Museum archive.
We will discuss these and other news (and show a video from the Nabokov Hall) at our next online seminar on April 23 at 7:00 PM St. Petersburg time. The link will be sent in the next two days to those IVNS members who would like to take part in the seminar. Contact nabokovreadings [at] gmail for more information.
