Subject
SIGHTING, ALBEIT SLIGHT.
Date
Body
In the June 22 NYT, Michiko Kakutani calls "Mr. Peanut" by Adams Ross, "a
dark, dazzling and deeply flawed novel that announces the debut of an
enormously talented writer." A major flaw:"..."the novel’s wildly ambitious,
Nabokovian architecture — and its author’s heavy use of theme and variation —
feels self-conscious and contrived."

Robert H. Boyle
