PH: Nothing invented or fictional about Ruinen. It is a small village in the
middle of the Dutch province Drenthe, well known for its (formerly
expansive) areas of raised bog ("veen").

Which makes the anagram (Ruinen = Un rien) even more amusing. Otherwise, mea culpa and thanks. Glad to learn that, like Lolita, a town in Texas, Ruinen exists.

You'll pardon me another Flaubertian anagram: reunion = in Rouen
