Joyce is also on the list of top alcoholic writers at that site.
Solzhenitsyn won the Nobel in 1970, but didn't accept until he left the USSR
in 1974. On that occasion VN sent him a warm letter of gratitude for the
1972 letter Solzhenitsyn had written to the Swedish Academy, recommending VN
in the strongest terms for the prize.
