There’s a collection of Field’s Djuna Barnes materials at the U of
Maryland,
http://digital.lib.umd.edu/archivesum/actions.DisplayEADDoc.do?source=MdU.ead.litms.0059.xml&style=ead/

No sign of anything Nabokovian there (the sale seems to have taken place
in 2006).

Whether the Field archive of Nabokoviana sold in 1994 and whether it is
now in a public institution seem to remain open questions.

remembered reading on the list a few years ago that Field's archive was
auctioned. I was shocked to see that "a few years" was nearly 21. As
far as I can tell, there was no follow-up reporting where the archive
wound up. Anyone? -SB
