Dear All,
Could the word have been "lyre", as in the 'a posteriori' reunion of Van
and Ada shortly after the landing of the aircraft with libellula wings?

This may not be worth correcting, but I noticed that I had left out the word
"not" before "noted" in the parenthetical expression in my note. It should
read "(but not noted in the transcript below)."
