Nobody will comment on the name "Aina"? Isn't she a girl that drowned in the Finnish epic you've been discussing in relation to Sibelius and the myths of creation?

BTW: Another creation myth, now a Japanese one, mentions Aioina and a metamorphosis of his abandoned sandals into squirrels, a theme that is reminiscent of Nabokov's Cinderella's slippers made of grey fur and not of "glass" ( verre/vair).
