I would say Pnin is the better narrative model. We don't get narrative
closure, the Sopranos will go on living their interesting lives but off
camera, while we are left sitting in front of the television, with a lot
of terrible junk to watch (including parodies of the Sopranos), the visual
equivalent of kidney and fish.

And, like Pnin, Tony has ended up with a new pet. Which Paulie doesn't
like, but that's another story...
