Nabokov Museum Redux

I just returned from St. Petersburg, and the Nabokov museum
where I had the pleasure of meeting its delightful director Tatyana Ponomareva
who showed me around and joined me for lunch. I took some photos, which follow. Unfortunately the quality is not the best. VN’s mother’s and father’s bedrooms are not
part of the museum, but a very nice lady from the organization assigned to
those rooms let me photograph them. It was wonderful to be in the house so poignantly
described by Nabokov and where his childhood unfolded. Tatyana is on the right, me on the left.
