Greetings all --
I'm reading (more accurately, blundering through, with dictionary at elbow) the Girard/Coindreau translation of "Pale Fire." Does anyone know if this translation has been the subject of any Nabokovian scholarship? -- I'm thinking especially of (what I assume were) VN's decisions about how to render various problematic lines in the poem. Many thanks.
Best,
J. Morris
