Re Jerry Katsell's email on Amis father and son. As Brian Boyd mentions
in 'American Years', Martin Amis is a highly perceptive commentator on
Nabokov. I always remember one of his rather succinct remarks: ' ".....
what is central about N is that he does all the usual things better than
anybody else."
