homonyms in Russian
pronunciation (spirals within spirals)?

Dante and D'Anthes in Russian (or Dantes - mondern way
of saying his name) sounds like chalk and cheese
together (phonetically). (the "s" at the end is always
pronounced). In ohter words, D'Anthes rhymes with
Compress or Address (not very good rhymes but I
believe they give some flavour)
But Russian Dante can rhyme with Hunter or Bunter.
