I had the chance to visit today a rather spectacular art exhibit
today at the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis at the University of
Minnesota, entitled "Mir Iskusstva: Russia's Age of Elegance." It
is an exhibit organized by the State Russia Museum, St. Petersburg,
and focuses on painting and costume/set designs from about 1900 to
1920 by the "World of Art" group. The show runs through Dec. 31
here, and would be of considerable interest to Nabokovians. I do not
know where, if anywhere, it goes after Minnesota.
